For a lot of riders, biking has never just been about the bike.
It’s the roads you remember, the cafés you stopped at, the people you met along the way and the stories that get passed down through generations of riders.
Here in the North East, places like “The Hill” became a huge part of that. Somewhere riders would meet up, talk bikes, share routes and spend hours putting the world to rights over a bag of chips.
A lot has changed over the years, but the riding community is still very much here — and many of the riders who’ve supported us over the last 40 years have a huge amount of knowledge, memories and stories worth sharing with newer generations coming into biking.
That’s where “The Nod” came from.
We wanted to create a space for riders to share their photos, road trips, café stops, old memories and biking stories — whether it’s from 30 years ago or last Sunday morning.
It doesn’t matter what you ride or how long you’ve been riding. If it means something to you, we’d love to see it.
Because biking’s always been more than just the machine — it’s the community around it.

What about fees and commission? We don’t charge you a fee for an introduction to a lender, however the lender typically may pay us commission for a successful introduction. We do not charge you a fee for our services. Whichever lender we introduce you to, we will typically receive commission from them (either a fixed fee or a fixed percentage of the amount you borrow). The lenders we work with could pay commission at different rates. However, the amount of commission that we receive from a lender does not have an effect on the amount that you pay to that lender under your credit agreement.” All of our finance is offered at the same rate to each customer, we don’t vary the rate. How am I scored? Different lenders have different methods of scoring you for your suitability of your finance application. We are not privy to the score, nor how they arrive at it.
